Aysel Karimova, lecturer at the Department of Regional Studies of Eastern Countries at Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU), participated in the “Introduction to Multiculturalism” training organized by the Baku International Multiculturalism Center.

The month-long training, held from November 15 to December 13, 2025, covered key topics including the fundamentals of multiculturalism, ethnic and cultural diversity and its management, multiculturalism and the media, multiculturalism policies, and secular religions, among others. During the training, participants also explored international best practices in teaching multiculturalism and discussed their potential application in Azerbaijan.

At the conclusion of the program, Rəvan Həsənov, Executive Director of the Baku International Multiculturalism Center, presented certificates to the participants in recognition of the successful completion of the training.
