Presentation of the Book “Azerbaijan–China: Presidential Chronicle” Held at NUML in Islamabad
On December 23, the Azerbaijan Language and Culture Center (ALCC) at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in Islamabad organized the presentation ceremony of the book “Azerbaijan–China • Presidential Chronicle (2003–2025)” on Tuesday.
The book provides detailed information on events, official visits, and strategic agreements implemented at the presidential level between Azerbaijan and China from 2003 to 2025. The publication highlights the development of political, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two countries during this period.
Speakers at the event emphasized the role of President Ilham Aliyev in strengthening Azerbaijan–China relations. It was noted that under President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership, cooperation between the two countries has expanded in the fields of trade, energy, transportation, infrastructure development, education, and cultural exchange, resulting in the formation of a strong and stable partnership.
The Head of the Azerbaijan Language and Culture Center stated that the publication is an important historical and academic source providing insight into Azerbaijan’s foreign policy priorities and its strategic relations with China. The Director of the Youth Society highlighted the relevance of the book for students and young professionals, noting that it presents a practical example of sustainable diplomacy and leadership in international relations.
The author of the book, Rafiq Abbasov, Director of the Confucius Institute operating under Azerbaijan University of Languages, was highly praised for his contributions to Azerbaijan–China academic and cultural cooperation. Participants described the book as a comprehensive and balanced chronicle of bilateral relations.
The event concluded with remarks on the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation between Azerbaijan and China, particularly through initiatives in the fields of education and culture. The Azerbaijan Language and Culture Center reaffirmed its commitment to promoting intercultural understanding and academic exchange.
