A class dedicated to the Commemoration Day of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at AUL
On December 12, a class dedicated to the Commemoration Day of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held with groups 113a and 113b at the Faculty of English and French of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), under the supervision of AUL Associate Professor Ayten Maharramova.
The main purpose of the event was to provide students with a deeper insight into the life and multifaceted activities of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as to promote the great legacy he created in the formation of modern Azerbaijani statehood. The class was prepared on the joint initiative of Shams Talibli, Chair of the Student Trade Union of the Faculty of English and French, Nigar Aliyeva, Chair of the Student Scientific Society, and Jale Gahramanova, Chair of the Student Youth Organization.
During the class, the Dean of the faculty, Associate Professor Vafa Babayeva, attended the event and shared her views on Heydar Aliyev’s decisive role in the construction of modern Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of his political course as a strategic path that ensured the country’s progress.
During the event, students delivered presentations in various languages, highlighting several areas of the National Leader’s activities.
Elvira Akbarli, a student of group 113b, delivered a slide presentation on “Heydar Aliyev’s Domestic Policy,” providing detailed information on public administration, socio-economic reforms, and innovations implemented in the fields of education and culture.
Aysu Alizade, a student of group 113a, delivered a presentation on Heydar Aliyev’s historic services, emphasizing the significance of the steps he took in the process of state-building.
Shams Talibli, Chair of the Student Trade Union, delivered a report in English on Heydar Aliyev’s official visit to the United Kingdom, providing information on the cooperation agreements signed during the visit, activities carried out in the political and economic spheres, and the strengthening of strategic relations between the two countries.
Aysu Zeynalova, a student of group 210a majoring in German at the Faculty of English and German, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the National Leader’s visit to Germany, the role of this visit in expanding relations with Europe, and the documents signed in the fields of energy, transport, and economic cooperation.
Nabat Farzaliyeva, a student of group 223c majoring in French at the Faculty of English and French, delivered a presentation in French on Heydar Aliyev’s role in the development of diplomatic relations and the formation of a strategic partnership with France, presenting interesting information about his visits to France, the agreements signed, and the expansion of humanitarian and cultural ties between the two countries.
