Students of the Korea Studies major at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) successfully represented our country at the “7th Korean Studies Week,” held on November 21–22, 2025, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Under the guidance of Bahar Aliyeva, a Korean language instructor at AUL, the participating students represented the university at a high level.

At the 15th Central Asian Korean Studies Olympiad, Muhammed Musa, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Translation (Azerbaijani sector), demonstrated his knowledge of Korean language and culture and was awarded third place.

Additionally, at the 10th CIS Conference of Young Korean Studies Researchers, fourth-year student (Russian sector) Firuza Mehdizade delivered a scientific presentation. Her research and presentation were met with interest by both participants and the jury.

It should be noted that the event in Almaty, Kazakhstan, was organized with the support of the Consulate General of South Korea, the Korea Foundation, and the Korean Studies Academy.
