A Literary Event Dedicated to Bəxtiyar Vahabzadə’s Works Held at ADU
Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU) hosted a literary event dedicated to the works of prominent poet Bəxtiyar Vahabzadə, organized by Nərgiz Seyidova, Head of the Department of World Languages and Doctor of Philology, and Senior Lecturer Elnarə Şəfiyeva.
Students from groups 166a, 188, and 369a of the Faculty of International Relations and Regional Studies performed short scenes from Vahabzadə’s poem “Gülüstan” and recited various poems.
During the event, students highlighted Bəxtiyar Vahabzadə’s significant role in Azerbaijani literature and the development of national thought. The content of the poems and their connections to the socio-political events of the time were also discussed.
The event, held at the Heydər Əliyev Museum-Lecture Hall, provided a rich literary atmosphere, and the students’ performances were highly appreciated.
