Asif Tanvir Avan, Deputy Director of the “Muslim Institute” (MUSLIM Institute), who is on a visit to Baku, was hosted by the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The meeting was organized at the initiative of Mahmud Athar, Director of the Pakistan Cultural Center located at AUL, and Sevda Abuzərli, Senior Lecturer of the Department of European Languages.

During the meeting, the activities of the Pakistan Cultural Center were presented. Mr. A.T. Avan was also introduced to the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Auditorium, the “Israel and Middle East Studies Center” at AUL, as well as the university’s reading room and open library.

Günay Səfərova, a researcher at the “Israel and Middle East Studies Center,” answered the guest’s questions in detail regarding the center’s scientific-research activities.

Nuranə Qafarova, Head of the Library Department of the Education Quality Assurance and Information Center, provided comprehensive information about the rich book collection available in the reading room and open library.
