A seminar on "The constitutional right of India" was held at AUL

On November 3, Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) hosted a seminar within the framework of the project "Like India" of the Center for Hindi Language and Culture of the University. At the seminar dedicated to the theme "Indian constitutional law", students of the University's Indian Studies specialty participated.

Sevda Taghiyeva, a senior teacher at the International Relations Department, spoke about the essence of the constitutional right of India. He noted that the proclamation of India's independence in 1947 resulted in the further development of the historically formed secular system of law and the consolidation of the previous law and legislation concept. S. Taghiyeva also spoke about the history of the Constitution of India, its principles and provisions, its peculiarities, the rights and freedoms set out there, detailed information about the powers of the president, the activities of the parliament and the people's power.

Bakhman Aliyev, a teacher of the Regional Studies Department, said that the Indian Constitution, formed as a result of the struggle between British political circles, is based on the European legal system. According to him, the Indian occupation process of the Indian occupation of the Ost-Hind company in 1613 has been widened, but by the arrival of laborers, Indian independence has accelerated. He then shared his views on the states, the first national parties, the National Liberation Movement and the Nehru constitution, which were present in India.
