To improve the welfare of teaching staff goal-oriented work is being carried out at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). Thus, with the aim of assessing and encouragement  the work of teachers,  according to the order of the acting rector of the university, Professor  Afgan Abdullayev, 28 teachers were announced  “Teacher of the Year to 2016 ". According to the order, it was decided that the teachers should be paid a one-time premium.
