On February 10, a meeting was held with the representative of "Shantszya" China's consulting company Wang Jian Xing on the education sector at the Confucius Institute operating within Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The Director of the Confucius Institute in Azerbaijan, Professor Rafig Abbasov provided detailed information about the China's global project "One belt one way" that leads to research on the revival of the historic Silk Road and the public promotion of the Confucius Institute. Rafig Abbasov noted expanding of student-teacher exchange between China and AUL in recent years, as well as 10 Chinese studies students of AUL successfully graduated from Senyan Pedagogical University in China. Wang Jian Xing stressed the development of tourism in China, as well as  training and internship programs  at the well-known foreign enterprises, holding  of  thematic cultural programs and tours of education for young people around the world. As well as prospects of cooperation in education and tourism with leading Chinese universities were discussed during the meeting. In the end Mr. Wang Jian Xing was presented a book prepared by the staff of AUL Confucius Institute, "Ilham Aliyev - the modern successor of the ancient people's friendship," dedicated to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev ‘s  activity on the development of bilateral relations between China and Azerbaijan.
