Educational Meeting on Energy Innovations Held at AUL

An educational meeting titled “Energy Innovations: A New Approach to Climate Change” was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) for students within the framework of a project implemented by the Ecological Awareness and Monitoring Public Union. The project is carried out with the financial support of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event was opened by the Chair of the Ecological Awareness and Monitoring Public Union, Gamza Yusubova, who provided detailed information about the goals and expected outcomes of the project.

AUL Rector’s Adviser, PhD in Philosophy Anar Osmanli; Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Regional Studies, Associate Professor Namig Karimov; and project expert and scholar Rasim Mammadov delivered speeches, sharing their insights and experiences with the students. As part of the meeting, a training session led by trainer Revan Jafarli was also conducted.

The main purpose of the event was to promote sustainable development in the entrepreneurial environment by combining energy innovations with environmental reforms in the fight against climate change. The project also aims to strengthen climate action by increasing the use of renewable energy sources in agriculture, industry, and among young people.

During the meeting, it was noted that the project seeks to improve energy efficiency and encourage young people to propose innovative solutions to climate challenges. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of a sustainable and environmentally friendly economy.

At the end of the event, participants were presented with the brochure “Green Economy in Azerbaijan: New Approaches to Climate Change”, prepared within the framework of the project.

It should be noted that the event was held in both educational buildings of the university.
