On October 21, 2025, at 11:00, a session of the Scientific Seminar operating under AUL (Azerbaijan University of Languages) will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Museum-Lectorium.

During the session, Cosqun Dadaşov, a doctoral student of the Department of World Literature and Literary Theory at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, will present his dissertation titled “Mythological Time and the Real World in the Works of Michael Moorcock”, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, specialty 5718.01 – World Literature (English-language Literature).

Additionally, Zöhrə Eyyubova, a doctoral student of the Department of Translation and Philology at Azerbaijan University, will present her dissertation “The Theme of the Sea in American Literature and in the Works of Herman Melville”, also submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, specialty 5718.01 – World Literature (English-language Literature).

The dissertations will be discussed within the framework of the seminar session.
