On October 8, 2025, the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) held a special cultural event organized in cooperation with the Spanish Language Center and the Embassy of the Republic of Colombia in Azerbaijan.

As part of the program, the renowned Colombian music group “Caña Dulce” delivered a vibrant concert performance for the university’s students and academic staff, bringing the rhythms and spirit of Latin American culture to the AUL stage.

The event was attended by H.E. Luis Fernando Cuartas Ayala, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Colombia to Azerbaijan. In his opening remarks, the ambassador expressed gratitude to the university leadership for their hospitality and the opportunity to showcase Colombian culture at AUL. He emphasized that such events play a significant role in promoting Colombian culture internationally and in strengthening friendship and intercultural dialogue between nations.

The university administration also extended appreciation to the Colombian Embassy and the “Caña Dulce” group, noting that AUL has always placed strong emphasis on introducing and studying the cultures of world nations, considering cultural exchange an essential part of academic life.
