On December 18, Anvar Abbasov, Director of Curriculum Center of the Institute of Educational Problems had a meeting with AUL students. The essence of the curriculum and its application were clarified at the roundtable. Head of the Department of Teaching Foreign Language, Associate Professor Amrali Shiraliev mentioned that care for education is formed by certain state-level reforms. Saying that the meeting was devoted to the study and teaching of the curriculum used in the background of these reforms, A.Shiraliev asked A.Abbasov for some words. A.Abbasov highly appreciated the students' enthusiasm to study the educational problems and their essence. According to Abbasov, the student-based education system has been formed  in the world and  the need of the  society should be taken  into consideration for their further  development of education, and  much attention must be  paid to the  urgent issues in the  economic, social, political and cultural development process. Speaking about the main theme of the roundtable, A. Abbasov spoke about the development and implementation  of the curriculum, which is a crucial issue in the strategic steps of our state, global models of curriculum, the tasks and fields of modern pedagogics, reforms in this direction, as well as components of the basic curriculum, essence and benefits of selective subjects. The roundtable ended with answering the students’ questions.
