At present, 14 centers studying the language, culture, history and statehood of countries function at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). As an alternative to the centers already functioning at Azerbaijan University of Languages, on the initiative of Rector of AUL, Academician Kamal Abdulla, the centers of "Azerbaijani language and culture" began to be opened in the most prestigious universities of these 14 countries. Undertaking all the necessary arrangements in this direction, the centers of "Azerbaijani language and culture" will soon be opened by AUL in five of these 14 foreign universities to support the purposeful policy pursued by the President Ilham Aliyev in promoting rich history, culture and language of our people and state  in the world. The first step in this direction was taken at the State University of Khudzou, near the city of Shanghai, China. Having its broad scientific and educational ties with AUL, University of Khudzou is included into the TOP-350 among Chinese higher educational institutions, with more than 20,000 students. A very big place for the Center of "Azerbaijani Language and Culture" has already been identified at University of Khudzou, which has a large infrastructure. The state attributes of Azerbaijan including history, geography, ethnography, literature, culture, history of statehood, current position in the world community, books reflecting the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, collections of outstanding artists, collections of folk and composer music were placed at the center. The President of University of Khudzou, Professor Zhang Liqing expressed his confidence that the opening of such a center would lead to a further development of the Chinese-Azerbaijani relations on different levels at the University's official reception before opening the center. The Representatives of Azerbaijan University of Languages, who visited China for the opening ceremony of the Center, also thanked the President of University of Khudzou for their warm attitude and love for Azerbaijan. The head of the center will be appointed by Azerbaijan University of Languages. The Center will organize its diverse roundtables, presentations, events, conferences to represent  Azerbaijan in China, as well as to teach the subject "Azerbaijani multiculturalism" in Khudzou and other universities in China. The Center of "Azerbaijani language and culture" has already started preparations for the International Conference on "Heydar Aliyev: ideology of multiculturalism and tolerance" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev in May 2018 at University of Khudzou in China.
