On May 18, a roundtable " Years without Lachin " dedicated to the 25th anniversary of occupation of Lachin region by Armenian military  was held on the initiative of the History  Club operating within Student Youth Organization (SYO) at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).

AUL vice rector for Educational Affairs Aladdin Aliyev, Dean of the School of Education, Professor Fikret Jahangirov, professor of the department of Social sciences Mahammad Teymurlu, head of Protection History and Culture Monuments Public Union in occupied territories  Faig Ismayilov and students participated in the roundtable and ancient history of  Lachin region, along with its rich natural resources, geographical position was talked about. Speakers talked about the atrocities committed by Armenians in the occupied territories, informed about cultural and historical monuments that have been subjected to Armenian vandalism.

It was expressed confidence on the liberation of occupied territories relying on Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's political course, and return of IDPs to their homes as soon as possible.
