On July 3, the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) held a solemn "Graduate Day" for students who graduated from bachelor's and master's programs in the 2024/2025 academic year.

The event was attended by deputies of the Milli Majlis, ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of foreign countries, representatives of the diplomatic corps, teaching staff of the university, as well as employees of various state institutions.

The celebration began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, after which the student anthem "Gaudeamus" was performed.

AUL Rector, Academician Kamal Abdulla, congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future professional activities:

"I want to express my deep gratitude to our guests - ambassadors, deputies, friends of the university, parents - for being with us today. I am sure that the graduates of the AU in their future life will faithfully and worthily serve the Motherland, the state, the flag and the people, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and professional skills".

Kamal Abdulla emphasized that the doors of the university have always been and will remain open to its graduates:

"Dear graduates, wherever you are, we will always be there for you. You can count on our moral support. By your deeds you will glorify the name of your homeland, your land and your university. I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart and hug you tightly. I also ask you to convey the most sincere wishes on my behalf and on behalf of my colleagues to your parents."

Honorary diplomas and certificates for outstanding academic achievements were awarded to the graduates by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Azerbaijan by Mrs. Lu Mei, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany Ralph Horlemann, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic Luca Di Gianfrancesco, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Katsuya Watanabe, Advisor to the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Isis Lessman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Kang Gymgu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria Zakia Igil, the Chargé d'affaires for Affairs of the Consulate of Argentina Leandro Daniel Verteramo, as well as deputies of the Milli Mejlis Arzu Nagiyev, Huseynov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education Kamran Rasulov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan Elisa Kurbanov and Director of the Bilasuvar Educational Complex, named after the National Hero Mubariz Ibragimov, Akshin Bagirov.

The event ended with a festive concert program.

It should be noted that in the 2024-2025 academic year, 1702 students became graduates of the university, of which 1395 were in bachelor's programs and 305 in master's programs.
