A meeting on the development of Arabic language teaching was held in the AUL

On July 1, a meeting dedicated to the development of Arabic language teaching was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). Within the framework of the meeting, the Rector of the University, Academician Kamal Abdulla, received a delegation that arrived in Azerbaijan to support the teaching of the Arabic language.

 

The meeting was attended by Khalid al-Shatiri, Executive Director of Arabic for All, Amin az-Zahrani, CEO and co-founder of Had, as well as founder of the Teach Me Arabic Academy.

 

During the conversation with the University management, a detailed exchange of views was held on the current state of teaching Arabic and the prospects for its development. Initiatives aimed at promoting the study of Arabic in Azerbaijan and improving the quality of its teaching were discussed.

 

The parties reached an agreement on the publication and introduction into the educational process of the Azerbaijan University of Languages of a textbook widely used in the Arab world and characterized by high efficiency. Khalid al-Shatiri will present these textbooks to AUL students.

 

In addition, it was announced that two teachers from Saudi Arabia will be sent to the AUL for a five-day training program for Arabic teachers.

 

Amin az-Zahrani noted that AUL students will be provided with a special code for free access to the Teach Me Arabic Academy platform, and this privilege will be valid exclusively for AUL students.

 

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to expand mutual cooperation and implement joint projects in the future.
