Within the frame of series of events dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of  Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, a round table discussion on the topic “The establishment and activity of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic” organized by The Azerbaijani Studies Scientific Research Laboratory was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages on April the 30^th 2018. An event that was hosted by the members of the club “Young researchers of Azerbaijani Studies” was full of interesting talks and discussions.

Head of the Chair of Regional Studies assoc. prof. Sevdagul Aliyeva made an opening speech and stated that more events dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic are supposed to be held in the upcoming year. She emphasized that one of the sections of the first scientific conference on the topic “Heydar Aliyev: The Ideology of Multiculturalism and Tolerance” which is held by the support of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, New Azerbaijan Party and Baku International Multiculturalism Centre is dedicated to Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

Afterwards, students of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism Turkan Jafarli, Hayat Hajiyeva and Kamala Hasanova gave presentations on the topics “The achievements gained during ADR” and “The Founders of ADR” and “Women glowing during the ADR”. Then student of the Faculty of International Relations and Management Aysel Zakirli gave a talk on the topic “A military service during the ADR”. The round table ended with the discussion.
