An event dedicated, to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, was held at the Faculty of Translation of the Azerbaijan University of Languages.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Azerbaijan Christopher Alberto Martinez Berroteran took part in the event and delivered a speech. In his speech, the ambassador noted the existing friendly relations between the two countries, and also emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in the cultural and educational spheres.

As part of the event, IV-year students, majoring in Spanish, presented translations into Azerbaijani of the works of Venezuelan writer Ana Maria Oviedo Palomares - "Alien's House" and "Between Fire and Ash". In addition, a video reflecting the dynamics of Azerbaijani-Venezuelan relations was shown. Both translations and video materials aroused great interest among the participants of the event, and the professional training of students was highly appreciated.

During the meeting, the guests also got acquainted with the artworks of the first-year students of the faculty.
