The event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was held at AUL
The event, devoted to the 100th anniversary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (the ADR), was organized by the Faculty of Translation and Cultural Studies at Azerbaijan University of Languages (the AUL).
Opening the event, the rector's adviser Anar Osmanli spoke about the early history of the ADR and said that this event is of great importance for the enlightenment of the students.
The dean of the Faculty of Translation and Cultural Studies, associate professor Banovsha Mammadova said that Dilgam Ahmad is one of the researchers of the ADR, and at the same time, mentioned that rare documents of that period exist only in his collection.
Journalist Dilgam Ahmad, who was a guest at the event, spoke about the honorable way the founders of the ADR had passed.
Later Dilgam Ahmad's “Cumhuriyyet (Republic)” exhibition was held. The coat of arms, documents, photos related to the period of the ADR, M. Rasulzadeh’s letters and books with his own signature, newspapers and magazines were displayed there. D. Ahmad gave detailed information about all the photos and documents at the exhibition and answered the questions of the students.
It should be noted that the presentation dedicated to the founders of the ADR was shown at the event.
