A "Let's Preserve the Purity of Our Native Language" event was held at Barda District No. 1 Agdam IDP Secondary School by the interns of Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU).

The event was also attended by the staff of ADU's Department of Methodology. A scene from S. Vurgun's drama "Vaqif" was staged by the 10th-grade students. Additionally, poems by M. Araz, Z. Yagub, T. Bayram, and R. Behrudi were recited by students and interns.

A song titled "Sweet Language" prepared by 7th-grade students, as well as a short skit on the protection of language, was also presented. During the event, 9th-grade students performed "The Song of Karabakh". Following a discussion on the prevalence of barbarisms in our language, 2nd-grade students, Madina and Gulay, recited poems on this subject.

The event's moderator was Akif Qasimov, the senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology under the Faculty of Education.
