The second exhibition of Francophone University was held at French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) by the support of the Embassy of France in Azerbaijan. Opening the forum, ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Aurelia Bouchez expressed her gratitude to the embassies of Moldova, Hungary, Romania, the Ministry of Education, the delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan and the representatives of the French-speaking universities participating in the exhibition for the support of providing the forum. Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Firudin Gurbanov spoke about the development-biased activities of Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​and Baku Slavic University in teaching French and the exceptional role of the French-speaking centres functioning in both universities in the development of the French language. Besides him, Jala Salmanova, expert of Francophone, head of the centre of the French language and culture of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, made a presentation of the Centre within 25 minutes. In her speech, she spoke about the teaching French at the faculties of Azerbaijan University of Languages, particularly, at the Faculty of Education, about the increase of the number of French-speaking students, and the success of the students in this field. She stressed that since 1998 Azerbaijan University of Languages has been the first to establish relations with the distingushed universities of France (Strasbourg University) in Azerbaijan. She also mentioned that Azerbaijan University of Languages is the first and the only member of the Agency of International Francophone University in Azerbaijan ​​and the support of the rector of the University, academician Kamal Abdullayev, our students studying abroad , trainings organized for our teachers with the participation of the foreign teachers inviting from French-speaking countries, and  in general, the activities of Francophone, French language and culture center in developing the French language of our students.

Among the stands of France and the embassies of French-speaking countries in our country, the stands of the Francophone, French language and culture Center of Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​was also represented. We would like to note that the 1-st Exhibition of Francophone University was organized on April 12, 2018 at Azerbaijan University of Languages.

Le Centre de la Francophonie et de la langue et culture française de l’ULA a été représenté au Salon Universitaire Francophone de Bakou (SUF) à l’initiative de l’Ambassade de France en Azerbaïdjan 7 avril 2019.

À l’ouverture du Salon, l'ambassadrice de France en Azerbaïdjan, Aurélie Bouchez, a remercié les ambassades de Moldavie, de Hongrie et de Roumanie, le ministère de l'Education, la délégation de l'Union européenne en Azerbaïdjan et les représentants des universités francophones pour leurs soutiens et  ainsi que leurs participations  à l'événement.

Firudin Gourbanov, vice-ministre de l'Education de la République d'Azerbaïdjan, a parlé  des activités de développement de l'Université des Langues d’Azerbaïdjan et de  l’Université Slave de Bakou et  du rôle exceptionnel des centres francophones des deux universités dans la promotion des atouts de la langue française.

En outre, Jala Salmanova, spécialiste du Centre a fait la présentation de l'Université des Langues d'Azerbaïdjan. Dans son discours, elle a parlé de l'enseignement du français dans  tous les départements de l'ULA, du nombre d'étudiants francophones, du succès des étudiants dans ce domaine et a souligné que l’Université des Langues d'Azerbaïdjan a signé le premier contrat  en 1998 avec les universités les plus influentes de France (Université de Strasbourg). Elle a également noté que l’ULA est le  premier et unique membre de l’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie, que les étudiants ayant étudié à l'étranger avec le soutien de Monsieur le  Recteur de l'ULA  Kamal Abdoullayev, les formations organisées pour les professeurs de l'Université en présence des formateurs  invités des pays francophones, et les activités du Centre pour le développement de la langue française. Parmi les stands des ambassades et des universités des pays francophones,  le Centre de la Francophonie et de la langue et culture française de l’ULA a été bien représenté avec son stand.
