On September 3, the delegation of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the People's Republic of China (PRC) visited the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The meeting was attended by the AUL rector,, academician Kamal Abdulla, and other representatives of the university management. Academician Kamal Abdulla warmly welcomed the guests and expressed his joy to see them at the university.

Emphasizing the successful development of relations between the Azerbaijan University of Languages and many foreign universities of the world, the rector expressed confidence that today's meeting will open up great opportunities for wider cooperation, give a positive impetus to the development of existing relations between the two states.

The Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages noted that the Confucius Institute, operating under the AUL, serves to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of education, strengthen interaction between our peoples for the development of Chinese language teaching. The activities of the Confucius Institute not only contribute to the study of the Chinese language, but also stimulate interest in Chinese culture.

At the same time, the successful activities of the Center for Azerbaijani Language and Culture at Huzhou State University of the People's Republic of China contribute to the deeper development of Azerbaijani-Chinese relations in various levels. The Center promotes the Azerbaijani language, culture and history in the People's Republic of China by holding various presentations, round tables and events.

Yu Tianqi, Deputy Director General of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the People's Republic of China, expressed his gratitude to the management of the AUL for the warm welcome and hospitality, and also expressed satisfaction with the stay at the university.

Highly appreciating the cooperation with the AUL, the guest discussed the prospects for the development of scientific cooperation between the two countries.

It was noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Chinain the field of science and education is developing in an upward line, as well as in all spheres.

In this regard, close contacts with the Azerbaijan University of Languages make an important contribution to the development of relations between our countries.
