International Family Day is celebrated all over the world on the 15th of May every year. It was also celebrated on the said day at the third building number of Azerbaijan University of Languages. The celebration was organized by Sədaqət Musayeva, senior teacher of the chair of Civil Defence and Basics of Medicne. There were many participants in the celebration, including Tamam Cəfərova, vice-rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages on Social Issues and Public Realtions, Anar Osmanlı, assistant of the rector, Sevda Zamanova, head of the chair of Civil Defence and Basics of Medicne, teachers and many students, as well as employees of the State Committee for the Issues of Family, Women and Children, Rifah Gold Speech and Rehabilitation Centre, Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At her opening speech Sədaqət Musayeva spoke about the  Family Day, which is celebrated on May 15 every year all over the world. She said that women were always considered holy in our country and the holiest cornerstone of the society. She spoke about the State Committee for the Issues of Family, Women and Children instituted by the decree of President İlham Aliyev. This institution was founded by Heydər Əliyev, national leader of the Azerbaijani people. He was always attentive  to the problems of families. She added that the Committee always worked on the family problems and carried out the family policy of the government. Then a small play “Platonic love” by Sədaqət Musayeva was demonstrated by the third-year students of Education Faculty, it was applauded by all the participants of the event. Aynur Veysəlova, assistant of the director of Information and Analytic Researches Department of the State Committee for the Issues of Family, Women and Children, spoke of the Family Day, about  the conflicts in families, the reasons of divorces and some other family problems. Then the medical expert of Public Health and Reforms Centre and the psychologist of the Centre of Reproductive Health and Family Planning  spoke on the topic of Happy Family. Sevda Zamanova, head of the chair of Civil Defence and Basics of Medicine, concluded the ceremony.
