On May 24, 2019, there was held an event at High School 52 of Yasamal District of Baku devoted to the Day of  the Republic, which is celebrated on May 28 every year. It was organized by Qələmşah Heybətov, associate-professor, PhD in philology. The event was opened with an introductory speech by Qələmşah Heybətov, PhD in philology, associate-professor of the Chair of the Methodology of Teaching of Foreign Languages attached to the Faculty of Philology and Journalistics. He noted that May is full of the remarkable days of XX century, successful events and holidays for the Azerbaijani people. The Day of Republic, which is the 28th of May, is solemnly celebrated in all the corners of the country. It is day of the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan. Every Azerbaijani citizen is proud of this day. Supported by the students of Azerbaijan University of Languages, who are having their school practice there, the pupils of the school recited different pieces of poems by heart, demonstrated small spectacles, danced and sang. At the end the principal of the school Elmira Ələskərova thanked the students of Azerbaijan University of Languages, who are having their school practice there for their activities and wished them successes in their future activities.
