On May 16, there was held a workshop on the rules of protocol in diplomatic and interpretation at Azerbaijan University of Languages by the Centre of Language and Translation Services in frames of a chain of trainings on translation. The workshop was led by Tofiq Abdullayev, PhD in philology, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary, acting head of the Department of International Relations, and Fialə Abdullayeva, director of the Centre of Language and Translation Services.

The participants of the workshop along with increasing their knowledge in the mentioned field and got acquaintance with both theoretical and practical information on specific requirements and conditions of translation in the diplomatic sphere. At the same time they discussed the rules of behavior and ethic norms required from interpreters in the process of diplomatic communication.

At the end the participants were given official certificates of Azerbaijan University of Languages.
