An event on the topic "Education Policy of Heydar Aliyev, national leader of the Azerbaijani people" dedicated to the 96th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev was held at the Faculty of Education of Azerbaijan University of Languages. The event was participated by the professors and teachers of the Faculty of Education. Dean of the Faculty of Education Professor Fikrət Cahangirov informed the participants on role of Heydar Aliyev in the history of Azerbaijan, on his education policy and on his care for education. PhD in economics Anar Osmanlı, advisor of the rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, spoke about the education policy of Heydar Aliyev, his role in the socio-political development of country, in the signature of the "Contract of the Century". Associate-professor Qorxmaz Mustafayev, assistant of the dean of the Faculty of Education, spoke about the role of Heydar Aliyev in the formation of the ideology of Azerbaijaniism. Könül Babayeva, senior teacher of the chair of Psychology, spoke about the care of Heydar Aliyev for the teachers and for all in the sphere of education.

Then the students sang songs and recited poems dedicated to the great leader. The event ended with awarding diplomas to the winners of the contest dedicated to the year of Nəsimi.
