Presentation of the English version of the film “Prohibited History of Armenia and Azerbaijan” in Azerbaijan University of Languages

On December 4, 2018, presentation of the English version of the film “Prohibited History of Armenia and Azerbaijan” was held in Azerbaijan University of Languages. The presentation ceremony was attended by Fuad Akhundov, chief of sector at the Administration of the President, Rauf Hasanov, chief of sector of the International Projects of the Knowledge Foundation attached to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vazeh Askerov, director of Azerbaijan-French University, Umud Mirzayev, president of the International Eurasian Press Foundation, Dilara Efendiyeva, director of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Peace Platform and other officials. Vice-rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages on academic issues Professor Afgan Abdullayev greeted the guests and said that he was pleased to the guests in the University and noted that the film was one of the numerous activities aimed at conveying the truth of Azerbaijan to the world public. The producer of the film Fuad Akhundov, chief of sector at the Administration of the President, spoke of the birth of the idea, aim and essence of the film. He also spoke of the preparation process of the film and of its interpretation into different languages. Then the film was demonstrated. After the demonstration of the film the guests shared their impressions. The film has been shot as a response to the anti-Azerbaijani film “Falsification of History – Azerbaijan” shot by the order of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia and the mayoralty of Yerevan. The materials for “Prohibited History of Armenia and Azerbaijan” have been collected developed by the Centre of the Caucasian History. The rare documents, maps, cinema and photo materials collected in the USA, England, Russia, Turkey, Georgia and other countries prove that the territory of the present Armenia and its capital Yerevan were the ancient Azerbaijani lands, the lands of the khanate of Irevan, these documents exposed the false Armenian propagation and a number of its historical fictions, its historical-ideological falsifications used against Azerbaijan and its people. The scriptwriter of the film is Fuad Akhundov; chief of sector at the Administration of the President, its advisor is senior research fellow of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Rizvan Huseynov, chairman of the Centre of the Caucasian History. The film has been interpreted into English by Emil Abdurahmanov, candidate for a degree at Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry.  The dubbing of the film belongs to the telechannel “CBC-Azerbaijan”.
