On September 21, the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), an active member of ANAS, Kamal Abdulla met with the I year students of the AUL Faculty of Education. The rector said that the admission to the plan areas for the 2018/2019 academic year is relatively high compared to previous years. He noted that 289 people scored 501-600 and 296- more than 600 points. Overall, 1432 applicants were admitted to the bachelor’s degree, 242 applicants to the Master’s Degree in the entrance exams held by the State Examination Center. At the meeting Kamal Abdulla made an interesting initiative. The rector said that the money that students spend to the books will be paid by the university. To do so, students must submit their receipts from the bookstore to the university. The initiative of the rector was welcomed by the students.
