On September 14, the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, an active member of ANAS Kamal Abdulla met with Indonesian Minister of Culture and Education Muhadzhir Efendi.

Welcoming the guest, Rector Kamal Abdulla gave broad information about the Indonesian Research Center at AUL. The rector spoke about the close cooperation of AUL with the Embassy of Indonesia in Azerbaijan. He emphasized that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to Azerbaijan Husnan bey Fanani was elected Honorary Professor of AUL and that is a bright example of close cooperation.

Kamal Abdulla offered to create an Azerbaijani Cultural Center in one of the Indonesian universities, adding that establishment of such a center would contribute to the development of relations, study of Azerbaijani and Indonesian culture and history.

Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Education Muhadjir Effendi expressed his gratitude to the university administration for high hospitality. He noted that he supports the idea of establishing an Azerbaijani Cultural Center in one of the Indonesian universities.

Muhadjir Effendi emphasized the importance of establishing this center for mutually beneficial cooperation. The Minister of Culture and Education of Indonesia also stressed the importance of student exchange between the two countries.
