AUL Staff Members Visited Kelbajar No.1 Refugee School Once Again.
On March 14, a group of employees of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) visited the Kelbajar region No.1 School in Ganja. At the event dedicated to strengthening secondary school relationships with the university, pupils’ education and foreign languages proficiency, alongside with the pedagogical practitioners, the school staff and pupils also attended the event.
Opening the event with his speech, the head of the pedagogical practice, Anar Rahimov, talked about the experience of the program and emphasized that relations between students and pupils were strengthened. Then the intern student Sakina Mammadzadeh, the instructor of the AUL Pedagogical Department Oktay Abbasov, the chairman of the Student Trade Union Aytekin Mehtiyeva talked about the expansion of student-pupil relations and pointed out the goals.
Representatives of the No.1 refugee school noted that the internship program was welcomed by students and the staff.
It should be noted that, currently, some of the students of the Azerbaijan University of Languages are involved in pedagogical experience and internships at various refugee schools in different regions of our country. This extensive project is a voluntary one that AUL pursuing to contribute to the state care for refugees. Secondary school relations with the university are not only in practice, but also ongoing and systematic. It then envisages expanding the scope of the practice to cover the villages, establishing links with the university’s foreign language teachers.
