The AUL held a seminar on "China’s political history of the twentieth century"

On December 6, on the initiative of Confucius Institute operating at AUL, a scientific seminar on "China's political history of the twentieth century" was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The seminar was opened by the Director of the Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov who spoke about the history of the formation of the political system in China, stressed the importance of scientific analysis of the political leaders of the twentieth century China. As well as, R.Abbasov noted the necessity to explore the role of the leader of the people's revolution, the founder of the Chinese Communist Party and the People's Republic of China (PRC) Mao Zedong in the country's history. R.Abbasov stressed that this year the 40th anniversary of prominent theoretician of Marxism Mao Zedong's death was marked.

Employees of Confucius Institute at AUL spoke about major political events that took place in China in the twentieth century, local people's struggle for an independent China, People's Revolution, and the victory of socialist construction in China and the establishment of the PRC at the seminar.

At the end the poems reflecting the spirit of the great ideas of Mao Zedong and the endless heroism of the revolution, "Great march", "Lyupansan", "Cansa" and "Tszinqansan" were sounded.
