A scientific seminar on the topic dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the circus of the “Circus art of Silk Road countries” was held on the initiative of the Confucius Institute at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). Speaking with opening speech the director of the Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov dealt with identity of the Chinese people and the art of the circus tradition which embodies the uniqueness of China, the Chinese circus tour groups visit to Azerbaijan, spoke about the historical basis of the national leader Heydar Aliyev's visit to China during the progressive development of cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and China. Speaking at the seminar, scientific employee of the Institute of Architecture and Art of ANAS Rajab Mammadov spoke about the history and development of the circus art, circus traditions and genres of Azerbaijan. Chinese studies students of the School of Regional  studies and International Relations  spoke about  historical periods of China circus Art formation, high-level performance of Chinese circus masters, about the impact of China's circus art and culture of the peoples of Asia and Europe. At the end of the seminar, a documentary film dedicated to the history of circus "Circus is My Life" was demonstrated.
