On July 21, the rector of AUL, full member of ANAS, honored scientist Kamal Abdulla met with the creative team of the "Remote family" program of China Central Television CCTV-4 TV channel.

Welcoming Chinese journalists, the rector gave them detailed information about the university. Speaking about the Confucius Institute, K.Abdulla expressed his hope that through this institute, AUL students will get acquainted with China's history, language and culture. "There are great prospects for the worthy development of our relations. We want to further develop relations in the field of education ".

K.Abdulla said that he hoped that the Confucius Institute would function in China as well as the center of Azerbaijani language and culture, and Chinese youth will learn the Azerbaijani language and culture. "Chinese science is taking its first steps in Azerbaijan today as an independent science. We hope that in the near future, the Azerbaijani generation will develop in China ".

Rafig Abbasov, Director of the Confucius Institute at AUL, gave detailed information on Chinese language teaching at the university. He  said that classes are conducted both by Chinese and local experts. In addition, China's culture, language, history and so on. Various events are organized.
