On April 6, Information Center of French hosted the presentation of “The Miser" comedy by French dramatist and director Jean-Baptist Pokelen Moliere at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).

French-speaking students performed songs about Moliere, information was provided about his life and work at the event. A video was shown from Moliere’s “The Miser" comedy. The scene from Moliere’s "Tartuf" work was introduced in the performance of francophone students in French.

Then a teacher of French Lyceum in Baku Jean-Luc Dubroy informed about plot lines of “The Miser” comedy, characters, and the playwright's attitude to the events taking place in the work and so on.

In the end, the French Embassy Cultural Affairs personal Jervez Mate expressed satisfaction with the event organized as part of a week of Francophone and the activity of the students.
