On April 6, the teachers and students of Azerbaijan Languages University took part in the protest "Youth Victory march" held on the occasion of the anniversary of the battles of April organized by Nasimi District Executive Power and the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP).

AZERTAJ informs that five thousand young people, including young members of the ruling party, university students, enterprises, institutions and organizations and numerous guests took part  in the protest  dedicated to the memory of the heroes  who were killed for Azerbaijan's independence and territorial integrity.

Protesters marched from Clock Tower in the National Seaside Park to the State Flag Square.

A military orchestra played the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the State Flag Square.

As well as students from other higher education institutions in the territory of Nasimi district attended the protest.

Young people who take part in the march expressed their belief that under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev's leadership the state flag will soon fly in every corner of native Karabakh. Young people emphasized that they are ready for the command of the Supreme Commander in this way.

The April fighting was written as a glorious victory to military history of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan army prevented sabotage attempts by the army units of the Armenian armed forces with a quick counter-attack to the enemy. As a result of the fighting, Azerbaijan army liberated Leletepe, Talysh and several important strategic heights. During a four-day operation totally two thousand hectares of land has been liberated from the enemy.

President, Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev spoke about the importance of the war in April, said: “Today, our flag is waving in the liberated territories of Aghdere, Fizuli, Jabrayil regions. While under the banner of the liberation of the Azerbaijani lands, I said once again that the Azerbaijani people and the Azerbaijani state will never allow the establishment of a second Armenian state on its land. April fighting  is our glorious history. April fighting is  our historic victory. This victory brings us closer to a solution of the conflict. "
