AUL held an event titled "China in the eyes of Azerbaijani students"

 On August 8, Confucius Institute operating at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) hosted an event titled "China in the eyes of Azerbaijani students" at Azerbaiajn university of Languages (AUL).

Professor Rafig Abbasov, Director of the Confucius Institute, spoke at the opening speech about the features of the formation of Chinese psychology, the role of confessionalism and traditions in Chinese thought. R. Abbasov also talked about the concept of "Chinese dream". He said that this concept reflects centuries-old ideas about national revival and fair society building in China. According to R. Abbasov, this concept is based on national spirit of patriotism and reforms.

Confucius Institute employee Afsana Balayeva spoke about the experience of Azerbaijani-Chinese linguo-cultural youth camps, the features of social adaptation of Azerbaijani students in China.

Later, Gulnur Abbasova, a teacher at the Psychology Department at AUL,spoke about the traditional values of the Chinese and the features of ethnopsychology in the modern world.

Speaking at the event, AUL students talked about the Chinese people's ethnic identity, especially the Chinese national character, their thinking and their national-psychological qualities.
