Confucius Institute operating within Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) held a master class on the Teaching of Chinese Language on “Feature film as a method of sinologist students for Linguoculturology preparation ".

Director of Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov spoke of the advantages of the use of video materials at Chinese language classes to improve students' language culture, especially focused on linguistic and pedagogical potential of Chinese movies. He also noted that the use of feature films in the Chinese language create opportunity for students’ attainment of national and cultural values, and to increase vocabulary.

After showing film Confucius Institute teachers had specific tasks for students related to the analysis of the students to understand the meaning of the content and artistic images.
