AUL has been elected a member of the Francophone University Agency

Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) has been elected a member of the Francophone University Agency, activating in more than 100 countries around the world and including more than 850 universities. The Francophone University Agency's Director for Central and Eastern Europe, Mohammad Ketata said in a letter addressed to the acting rector, Professor Afgan Abdullayev. According to the kind attitude during his visit M.Ketata thanked Professor A.Abdullayev and all the opportunities to take advantage of financial support for French speaking people.

It should be noted that on April 4, in the presence of M.Ketata Francophone Center was opened at the University. Head of the center is PhD Gulnara Sadikhova.

For more information, the Francophone University Agency was established in 1961 in Montreal, Canada. It has been managed by Jean-Paul de Gaudemar since December 8, 2015. There are 18 regional offices and representative offices around the world. Since its establishment, the organization supports students and teachers conducting research of the French language in the fields of science. During the year, offers 2000 scholarship programs. Particularly in France, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland and other French-speaking countries, support for the organization's annual budget is more than 40 million euros. AUL took part part as an observer at this agency.
