AUL held a scientific seminar on the China philosophy

On January 18, the Confucius Institute, which operates under Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) hosted a scientific seminar on "Neo Confucius - as a system of traditional Chinese philosophy”  dedicated to 1,000th anniversary of Zhou Dunyi ,  the ancient Chinese philosopher, founder of Neo Confucius. Speaking at the opening of the seminar Director of the Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov provided information about the origin of ne Confucius, which is the most important event of the Chinese culture. This philosophy plays a major role in shaping the ideology of contemporary Chinese philosophy, he said. Speaking at the seminar head of the department of current problems of Philosophy Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences (ANAS),  Ali Abbasov and employee  of the Asia-Pacific region Department , Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS Ulker Aliyeva spoke about the concept and its place in Chinese philosophy. Head of the department of social sciences, associate professor Adalat Abdiyeva, professors Ali Mammadov and Shukufa Jabbarova  spoke about the theoretical features of neo Confucius,  concept of human nature and the aspects of ethical-religious teaching. In the end, the sides exchanged views on topical issues in Eastern philosophy.
