The results of the monitoring of Control Board were announced at the meeting On February 17, Scientific Council of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) held an enlarged meeting. The meeting was attended by the members of Control Board of AUL and the results of the fall semester of the academic year 2016 were discussed. Acting rector of AUL, Professor Afgan Abdullayev spoke on the aims of establishment of this Council and its activity and said that head of Control Board  of AUL  Alimammad  Nuriev would speak about  the results  of  exam session. A.Abdullayev said that the main characteristic of the activity of Control Board is that it doesn’t only activate during the exam sessions, but the whole academic year. The professor said that the university has all the conditions for comprehensive activities of the Control Board and the Council's next work will continue in the same manner. In his speech head of Control Board of AUL Alimammad Nuriev spoke about the work of the Council, thanked the university administration for the conditions created for them. He said that AUL is the visit card of Azerbaijan, the window to the world. Speaking about the monitoring system of Control Board A.Nuriyev has specially noted that AUL entered into a new relationship. According to him, public participation has been fully provided, teacher-student, as well as management- teacher-student relationship has entered a new phase, and it is ultimately serve the education system to meet modern standards. As for the course of the examination, objectivity and transparency in the fall session, direct view to the examination system has been fully provided, the students' works have been checked carefully and appeals on the results of written works have been considered sensitively. Transparent boxes were located in all buildings of the university, appeals dropped to those boxes were detailed analyzed and a serious problem was not revealed, he said. The chairman of the Control Board brought into the attention some suggestions and assured everyone that the Board will continue its activities throughout the entire academic year. Member of Control Board of AUL Etibar Aliyev built his speech on Spanish philosopher Jose Ortega-i-Gasset’s work “The University’s mission ".  Speaking about the AUL’s mission E.Aliyev emphasized that reforms carried out in the University is part of educational reforms in the country. High level organization of fall exam session at AUL serves these reforms, and to improve the quality of the educational process, he said. Then, the reports  on the autumn session of deans of schools were heard. The vice rector for Educational Affairs, Professor Aladdin Aliyev brought into the attention of  the members of  Scientific  Council  the reference prepared by  the commission   investigating the results of the accreditation held by the Ministry of Education and provided information about the measures to be taken. Several officers were awarded and the Scientific Board concluded its work with a discussion of current issues.
