Professor of the Cassino and Southern Lazio University, polical scientist Alessandro Figus held a meeting with the students of the Faculty of Translation and Cultural Studies within his visit to the closing ceremony of the first international conference on the topic “ Heydar Aliyev: multiculturalism and ideology of tolerance” dedicated to the 95^th anniversary of the nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev. The meeting was held on May the 8^th and was organized by AUL with the support of the New Azerbaijan Party and Baku International Multiculturalsim Centre.

The guest talked about Azerbaijani-Italian political, cultural relationship. Professor highlighted the importance of giving  a special attention to multicultural values and mentioned the fact Azerbaijan is a good role model to the world as a tolerant country.
