Azerbaijan University of Languages is
the unique University in Azerbaijan

languages, various regions and
international relations. The University

educational standards. The Azerbaijan
State University of Languages is a

the professors and teachers of the
University are recognized leaders in
their professional fields and were
awarded diverse national and

Presentation of
“English-Azerbaijani Dictionary for All”
dictionary at AUL

On May 16 at Information Resource
Complex of Azerbaijan University of
Languages there was held a presentation
the dictionary of “English-Azerbaijani
Dictionary for All” compiled by the
teachers of English Lexicology and
Countrystudy Department. The authors are
associate professor
Vahid Arabov from
English Lexicology Department,
Aygun Yusifova, Head teacher from
Foreign languages Department,
İlaha Aliyeva, the teacher from
English Lexicology and Countrystudy
Department,
Latifa
Suleymanova, the Head teacher from

Department, the scientific editors are
prof. Dunyamin Yunusov, the Vice rector
for Scientific issues and
prof. Masmakhanim Gaziyeva, the Head of

music-mugams"

On May 14 at Azerbaijan University of
Languages there was held an event
dedicated to Azerbaijan folk music
organized by Group 206 from the School
of the English language No1. At the
meeting were present prof. Afgan
Abdullayev, the Dean of the School of
the English language No1 and students of

An election
meeting of Teachers' Trade Union
Committee of AUL

On May 12 at Azerbaijan University of
Languages Teachers' Trade Union
Committee had an election conference. At
the conference was present University
staff. Opening the conference prof.
Samad Seyidov, the rector of AUL, the
deputy of M.P. highly appreciated the
TTUC’s activities during its term and
added that the organization
had been
an inseparable and integral part of the
University. Samad Seyidov pointed out
that the TTUC had been especially
influential in the Republic. He noted
that this image had been formed as a
result of successful work carried out by
the organization. |

Adam Sterling, the Charge d’Affairs of
the U.S to Azerbaijan. At the meeting
there was held anexchange of views on
the
current
development of
relations,
the existing
cooperation
between
AUL and
American Universities
and the activity of the American Center

The 89th
anniversary of national leader Heydar
Aliyev at AUL

On May 10 at Azerbaijan University of
Languages there was held an event
dedicated to the 89th
anniversary
of
national leader Heydar
Aliyev organized by Student Youth
Organization (SYO).
Before the
event the
students planted more than 150
different
decorative
flowers in the yard of
AUL.
At the event were present prof. Natig
Yusifov, the Vice rector for Educational
issues, prof. Dunyamin Yunusov, the Vice
rector for Scientific issues, Aladdin
Aliyev, the Vice rector for Education,
prof. Afgan Abdullayev, the Dean of the
School of the English language No1,
associate professor Majid Aliyev the
Dean of the School of the Regional
Studies and International relations and
student-teacher staff of the University. |
