In connection with the declaration of the "Green World Year" in Azerbaijan in 2024, an action of planting flowers and trees was held under the joint organization of the Department of Foreign Languages and Regional Studies of the Faculty of International Relations and Regional Studies of Azerbaijan University of Languages.

During the campaign, Huseyn Nagiyev and Elgun Abdullayev, who were interns at the department under the guidance of Prof. Sevdagul Aliyeva, the head of the Department of Regional Studies of the BMR faculty, first carried out cleaning work around the monument complex in the yard of the house of the martyred graduate of the faculty, Elvin Bayramov, and then planted 12 roses and 20 decorative shrubs.
