A contract on mutual cooperation

On 23rd of October there was signed a contract on mutual cooperation between Azerbaijan University of Languages and British Council.
Professor Samad Seyidov, Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), Member of Parliament and Chairman of Azerbaijani Delegation at the PA CE, Nicol de Laluvyer, Head of British Council (BC) Baku office, representatives of BC Baku office and Professor-teacher staff of AUL took part in the ceremony.
AUL Rector Samed Seyidov stated that mutual relations between AUL and British Council are on high level:  “Department of “Innovations in teaching and further education” of AUL and British Council have put forward an initiative. This initiative includes both language studying and language teaching methodology. This is an essential step for our university”
Nikol de Laluvyer expressed her satisfaction the cooperation between AUL and BC. She pointed out that she highly estimated the contract as the continuation of the reforms realized at AUL: “Our cooperation with AUL will further increase. This contract is the affirmation of high level training process at AUL.”
            We must mention that the main aims of the contract are to improve the quality of teaching English by using modern training methods at state and private universities of Azerbaijan and use “Teaching Knowledge Test” as additional training course for teachers and students.
The project will be realized at AUL within the period mutually arranged by Azerbaijan University of Languages and British Council.
