and plenipotentiary of Austria to Azerbaijan Marius Calligaris . Austrian –Azerbaijan relations, integration of the region to Europe, educational systems of both states, ties between the universities and other issues were the basic topics of the meeting.Rector of AUL professor Samad Seyidov spoke on the good relations of the two states and noted that, these relations are reflecting themselves in the educational field as well. Emphasizing the existence of Austrian center in AUL Professor S.Seyidov also said that AUL builds strong relationship between European Universities: «We have close ties with three Universities of Austria. We are planning to keep on developing these ties and increase the number of associates in the near future. I consider that our relations with Austria in the field of Education should set an example to other states”.
Moreover, the ambassador of Austria Marius Calligaris expressed his assurance in further strengthening the relations with Azerbaijan. Besides, the ambassador plenipotentiary spoke on the obvious development of Azerbaijan in all spheres.
“I would like to mention that, Baku has considerably changed in recent years and it is the result of the economical development in Azerbaijan”-said the ambassador of Austria.
The meeting went on with discussions on different topics.
