Representatives of the University of Ankara visit AUL

S.Seyidov: “Education is a strong tie between the two nations”

On November 2, rector of AUL, the head of International Relations Committee of Milli Majlis Samed Seyidov recieved the representatives of the University of Ankara Jemil Kurt, Ertan Gokmen and the director of the company “Bilmek” Ergun Ozkalayji.
Samed Seyidov said that the cooperation between the Universities directly influences the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey: “Recently the delegation of  TBM headed by Murat Marjan paid an official visit to  Azerbaijan. An agreement was reached on holding the meeting of parliamentary representatives twice a year. We should realize such kind of meetings on education as well. We are one nation, two states. It is the education that forms the strongest ties between the two nations.”
While speaking on the foreign relations of AUL, professor S.Seyidov also mentioned the bounds between Hajettepe University of Turkey:” Our relations with Hajettepe University may set an example to the relations with other Universities. But we shouldn’t stop on this but increase these relations, work with common principle and serve the common interests”
Ertan Gokmen made a speech in the ceremony too. First, conveying the best regards of the rector of University of Ankara professor Jemal Talug to professor S.Seyidov, he went on confirming the role of the relations between the Universities:” We  should do our best  in order to  bring the relations between the two fraternal states to the highest level.
The meeting proceeded with discussions on different topics.
