Azerbaijan University of Languages has published a collection of articles under the title “Aida Imanguliyeva and multicultural studies of East-West relations”. The collection of articles has been compiled by Multiculturalism Research Laboratory of Azerbaijan University of Languages. The author of the foreword of the collection is academician Kamal Abdulla, rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, editors are associate-professors Irina Kunina, and Nurlana Mustafayeva, reviewers are PhD on history, orientalist Nərgiz Əliyeva, and Bəhmən Kərimov, PhD on history, Əli Fərhadov, PhD on history, designer.
The material of the round table held at Azerbaijan University of Languages titled “Multicultural Study of East-West Relations” dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the prominent Azerbaijani orientalist, professor Aida Imanguliyeva was presented in the collection.
The collection includes the articles titled “The role of Aida Imanguliyeva in the development of multiculturalism” by Çesmi Haciyeva, doctor in economy, “Main features of Aida Imanguliyeva’s researches: the study of multicultural values” by the associate-professor Bəsirə Əzizəliyeva; “East and West – different worlds, common values in Aida Imanguliyeva’s creative activity” by Mahir Həmidov, PhD in philology, “The influence of the Islamic culture on the West in Aida Imanguliyeva`s creative activity” by Rəşad Ilyasov, PhD in philosophy and “Multicultural outlook on Arab immigrant literature in Aida Imanguliyeva`s creative activity” by Əli Fərhadov, PhD in history.
In the light of the creative activity of Professor Aida Imanguliyeva the works of the representatives of the Arab immigrant literature as Cübran Xəlil Cübran, Əmin ər-Reyhani, Mixail Nüaymə was studied and examples from them were demonstrated.
